A redundant journalist takes a job ghostwriting a ninety-three-year-old woman’s idyllic wartime memoir, and soon realises her subject is lying. The truth she’s buried reaches from a Blackpool brothel’s past to a trafficking ring still operating today.
Nora Munro is Lying is a historical crime novel told across two timelines, currently in final revisions. It reached the Top 100 of the Cheshire Novel Prize 2026.
